fundraising and service
fundraising
Fundraising is an important aspect of club swimming. Throughout the semester, we work the concession stands at the basketball games and hold fundraisers at local restaurants in College Park. The money we raise during fundraising events helps us pay for travel meet expenses, end of year formals, new equipment, and more!
Note: Attending fundraising events is MANDATORY for those who wish to attend certain events such as Nationals or Formal. Learn more about fundraising points on the Requirements page.
Service
Service is another important aspect of club swim. Throughout the semester, we volunteer with on-campus and local organizations to serve our neighboring communities. Our Terps are dedicated to service events including Swim-A-Thons, Food/Clothing Drives, Campus Beautification, and more!

Note: Attending service events is MANDATORY for those who wish to attend certain events such as Nationals or Formal. Learn more about service points on the Requirements page.
